Effective March 1, 2026, the cost to verify Initiative Petitions in Brevard County is $3.60 per petition received more than 60 days before February 1 of an even-numbered year and $4.24 per petition received less than 60 days before February 1 of an even-numbered year, pursuant to Florida Statute 100.371(14)(f). This cost will be adjusted as needed.
The initiative petition verification deadline is February 1, 2028.
